In case ya hadn't noticed, Rod's advice to Renner was humor- but having
met Jerry several times, I have to admit he does the crotchety old man
schtick pretty darned well. Larry Niven, on the other hand, is just as
irreverent and wiseass as Kevin Renner. On the gripping hand, Niven &
Pournelle work very well together.
