Aye. Politics of the sort involving actual politicians is just a
symptom of stifled economics.
Though in the anthropological sense, politics means the negotiation,
competition, and intrigue among intelligent agents which looks like
it's here to say. Of course SI is correct, transhuman sentiences will
be above that type of politics as well.
