If I would simulate history to find out what could have happened, I
would not just run a single simulation - if my re-run of WWII ended
with an axis victory, that could have been a statistical fluke. So I
would run as many versions as possible with slightly different initial
conditions so I could get good statistics. So if you think you live in
an universe run by someone researching like me, expect to exist in a
lot of slightly different versions.
