If a given second-world country has a coherent and
self-aware community of frustrated progressives, typically
educated and wealthy, they should be able to take a lesson
from the United States of two generations ago. Investing
heavily in the nation's mass entertainment industry will
give them some measure of content control over the
nation's myths and memetic vocabulary.
