Hotmail is not the ideal way to participate in as active a mailist as this
one, particularly if you want to be able to go back and double check on
exactly who said exactly what. But it can be done. What you can do, if you
are so inclined, is to make an archive folder. Then when moving messages
from your inbox, you can send them to the archive folder rather than the
trash folder (which MSN is kind enough to dump for you every couple of
days). That way you can keep your own personal archive going. Of course
you'll have to clean it out from time to time so as to avoid the storage
limit. But at least it will be up to you to decide which messages to keep,
and how long to keep them.
