Perhaps, but don't you think having holidays is a paradigm that needs to be broken? I mean, why have special days to celebrate anything -- whether it is the tradition stuff or not? It seems a lot like the French Revolutionaries changing the calendar. It's cute, but not all that significant. And given the choice between having special holidays to celebrate our particular icons or focusing on other things, I'd choose the other things.:)
