I'm fascinated that the most popular example of government cover-up for NS was
the Atom Bomb.. Perhaps I should have widened by conspiracy umbrella beyond just
national security. Although this may be a bit controversial, but there was a
cover-up about MJ which the government only recently made publicly available.
The prevailing theory was the FBI and a few lobbyists (cotton and lumber,
possibly pharmaceutical) teamed up to create a campaign to convert HEMP to
Marijuana and make it illegal. There are actually government papers which
document this awful abuse of power.

Well, this is a major problem if you consider how different things could be if
we only used hemp for paper.. how many trees are needed to produce the daily
papers viewed everyday?? I'm sure the numbers are mind-blowing..
