Stock Offering Expected for ICO Global System
ICO Global Communications is expected to announce a stock offering in
the coming months as the company seeks to raise some $2 billion in
public markets for its global satellite-telephone system.
The London-based company already has raised around $2.1 billion of the
$4.5 billion it will need to put its 12-satellite system into place.
Commercial service is expected to start in 2000.
