Might see something like this fairly soon:
"Enclose a few cells from your dearly beloved pet in the vial, along
with a description (cat, dog, etc.) of it and a picture. Send this to
our lab in Belize. Our courier will bring your new copy within a few
weeks or months (depending on species). 20% extra for imprinted
surrogate mother."
And later:
"New bodies for old pets!"
This type of business may fund the research on the other things. A
wealthy person might easily drop a million on either of these
prospects.
Btw, note that "Dolly" is at least several weeks old.
