Application: growing a fetal clone of yourself, then dismantling it for
the stem cells or nascent organs. Fetal tissue has been used for its
lack of immune provocation; cloned fetal cells should be really benign.
This would require artificial wombs or a big growth in the surrogate
pregnancy industry.
Not to mention growing clones on life support to adulthood to have
mature organs ready if needed. Or a young body to stick your brain in.
Right to lifers will not be happy.
