I mentioned cryonic suspension in my bilogy lab last week, and a woman
responded more or less like this: "Oh, the ultimate self-indulgence, to
think you should bless the people of the future with your presence."

It's amazing how much a person can reveal about their world view with one
off-handed utterance.
