Please explain what you mean here, because my mind has no referent
for the word "economics" that comes anywhere close to the attributes
you assign to it here.

To me, economics is simply the study of the scarcity of resources
and its implications. Princliples like "supply and demand" follow
from the facts of need and scarcity like evolution follows from the
facts of replication, mutation, and selection. Studying those
principles--what I call economics--is as necessary to understanding
the human condition as the study of evolution.
