The impression I got (as a c2.org customer) is that Sameer has got fed up
with dealing with customers and is now concentrating on security software
instead (e.g. encrypting Web servers). While his approach is not exactly
helpful or friendly to his long-standing customers (including me), from
some of the clueless-newbie stories I've heard from other ISP owners it's
not too surprising. I think that general profitability is a greater
concern than the SPA.

Of course I haven't spoken to him in person for a couple of years, so I'm
merely going on email and hearsay.
