If the economy is wrecked a hell of a lot more than 1 million people
will die, probably from lack of modern medicine. And if you think that
being bombed is going to turn more people against their own government
than a 1040 form, you're dreaming. War unites, not disunites. A Lunar
attack would inspire more support for the government than anything short
of an invasion.
