Now this has interesting potential! Especially in countries where
genetic testing is controlled by centralized institutions (like in
Sweden) that will not allow people to privately test their genes. While
DIY gene hacking may be a bit away, private gene testing is likely soon
upon us. Current systems are so expensive that they can be easily
controlled, but as diagnostic chips fall in price, it seems very likely
that we are going to see people ordering them discreetly from abroad.
