I would doubt transrodents did this, but very possibly transferrets! They enjoy having cats as playmates, and both species HATE rodents!
Maybe my superrich great-uncle is behind this! But he is in Louisiana, and not Texas! So he would be sending money to Tulane, and not some "damned" Texan university. Funny how those two states don't like each other too much. ; )
