Strangely, Ashcroft now disputes your interpretation. He now claims that he
never knew that the statue cover-up occurred. ABC reported that Ashcroft
ordered the statue cover-up. CNN reported that Ashcroft never knew about
the incident. Who reported your version? (It seems to be a third
variation.)
