"Robot Wars" (the British series) sucks. It is a pale imitation of
the American version, called "BattleBots", which airs on Comedy
Central on tuesday nights. Yes, I'm aware that it was actually
first, but the real founder left the original to start the new
league, and most of the good robot builders went with him.
