Most PETA-types are also Greens or naturalists. The idea of growing
meat in a vat, or even the concept of DNA/tissue research would be
repugnant to them. They would support research into processing
natural veggies, such as soy-beans, into a meat substitute.
(Although they would simultaneously fight against genetically
modified soybeans that taste like meat!)
