I think robots will earn more money for their creators by letting their
Kurzweillian GUIs transmit directly into human retinas. A picture is worth
a thousand (OK, 500) signs.
As for learning, I'd guess the best thing for robots to learn is how to
read human thoughts... directly, without any interface. Symbiotic
intelligence looks most promising and potentially powerful to me.
