Hi all,
For the past few weeks ExI's webmaster Brent Allsop has been looking into
getting a secure order-form for all membership orders via the Extropy
website. Though we have had no security issues in the past, it is
preferable to have a secure form. Essentially, we would like a form which
keeps all regular operations the same (including manually running the
credit card charges, order details sent via e-mail etc.), but with the
added bonus of the site being "secure." We have checked out a number of
options, including Verisign etc., but in addition to being fairly pricey,
they also don't offer quite what we would like.
If anyone has any information on a secure system along the lines of what I
mention above, please let both Brent and I know at allsop@extropy.org and
e_shaun@extropy.org respectively.
