Eli, come down from your soap box and lighten the grasp. If you don't get the rhythm and blues of the 1960s you may have something to discover, if you care to that is. I prefer music that moves me regardless of its age. Being so conscious of trying to prove one period better than another is a sidestep. Things get better with age, sure but why mix R&B with an 80s electronic guitar and get something less than Muddy Waters.
