That still means that time moves in the clockwise direction: From big bang
to big crunch and back again, just like the hands of a clock which go from
12 to 6 and back to 12. Time goes in one direction only because it is by
definition the movement of continuous successive existence. Asking why
time flows in one direction only is equivalent to asking why large things
are bigger than small things; that's the way the relationships are
defined. Transcending time would necessitate transcending space as well,
so that the transcendent entity would transcend itself. Every story has a
beginning and an end, unlike reality (and time), which has neither
beginning nor end, since it is circular. In fact, that's how to tell if a
system is real: If it has a beginning/ending, it's just a story or a
dream...
