I was working from home and listening to the talking heads on AM 740
declaring that "any minute now" a 500MW block (about a half
million homes) would be experiencing rolling blackouts lasting
the afternoon.
As soon as that was said, sure 'nuff, it happened.
Glad I have a laptop and cell modem which works through this...
and a generator and the other "y2k supplies" I was once derided
as being "paranoid" for having.
Of course, that means MREs for lunch today... yechhhh!
