The Singularity Institute would like to remind you that Eliezer
Yudkowsky's Research Fellowhip Challenge Grant will expire next Friday,
    September 12.

By means of the Challenge Grant, any donation you make is matched,
dollar for dollar, by funds from major donors. So far, SIAI has recieved
approximately $3,900 of a goal of $5,000. If this full amount is
achieved, the resulting total of $10,000 will be enough to keep
Yudkowsky working full-time for at least the remainder of 2003 and a
    small part of 2004.

If you are unfamiliar with the value in supporting the Singularity
Institute's work, and Yudkowsky's work in-specific, please see the
information about the Challenge Grant at SIAI's website: [1], and the
document, "Why Work Toward the Singularity?" [2]

If you send a donation by check, please notify SIAI by email so we will
be able to keep the current total donations received accurate. And in
any case, please designate the funds as being for the Fellowship
Challenge so that they will be matched, as SIAI does not use any funds
for the Research Fellowship without donor permission. Simply write on
the check or in the Paypal description "For the Fellowship Challenge".
