I warned Robin Hanson to get a lawyer and try to prevent this possible
accusation almost two months ago. I also warned the Extropians to avoid
accusing each other of terrorism or anti-American activities, and to avoid
so-called "thought experiments" involving violence, mass-murder or weapons
    of mass destruction.

As the Pentagon's over-reaction to the Futures Market shows, the U.S.
Government is currently seeing terrorism everywhere, even where it doesn't
exist. The least possibility, accusation, or theory is enough to attract
government attention. We must be even more careful now to keep our movement
from being erroneously linked to political extremists, racists, or
    terrorists.
