Sure but the action is on the part of each one
of us, not anything on the part of ExI or a
list moderator. I am not proposing we moderate
the list at all, but rather suggesting that when
flamed, take the high road, don't flame back,
let it slide like water off a duck's back.

The change is a voluntary non-reply policy to those posts
that make one want to flame. That was my interpretation
of that thing I heard about where a moderator asked
some folks not to reply to this or that. I didn't
think of it as any kind of censorship, but rather
like a friendly bartender asking a couple of
quarrelling drunks to cool it down a bit. It
really won't hurt us to just ignore those posts
    that are mean-spirited or inflammatory.

Harvey, you, I and Natasha and Gina Miller are the
only extropians in the flyweight division (127 lbs and
under). Instead of flame wars we can settle it
in a friendly four way coleslaw-rassling match
at the next extrocon. {8^D spike
