For those who are not FSP members but are sympathetic to its goals, I
wanted to make the list aware that the FSP has reached over 4,500
members, and will reach the 5,000 members needed to run its state
selection election by August 15th, as per its bylaws (we reached it a
year ahead of schedule!!!). If you wish to join the FSP and have a
voice in which state becomes the targeted Free State, you need to join
now in order to do so.

Those signed up are not obligated to move to whatever state is
selected. You have the ability to opt out of whichever states you wish.
The only limitation on opting out is if you reside in a candidate state
and opt out of every state but your own, you don't get to vote, you
must be opted into at least one other state to retain voting rights. If
you live in a non-candidate state, you can opt out of every state but
    one if you so desire.

After the election is held, the FSP has given itself three years to
reach the 20,000 membership level where actual migration to the Free
State would commence. If the membership does not reach this level in
that time period, members would be left to decide for themselves what
they want to do, their FSP contracts would be null and void.

As for myself, I am an avid New Hampshire advocate, but have stated
that I will move wherever the membership elects to. It is that important.
