There was some talk about a movie awhile back. I googled and found
    http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag98/may98_blue.html. There don't seem to
    be any recent references, however.

Hallmark made-for-tv movie? I don't know about that.

I have been thinking, these days movies spread memes much better than
novels, and very very much better than essays. What could be the ideal
movie to make many people see what we see? I think, a movie from "The
    First Immortal".
The book has a very positive outlook, and gives I think a realistic
account of todays cryonics, the prospects of revival, and the good world
that we may be living in by the end of the century if luddites do not
    get their way.
It would also be reasonably easy to make in terms of special effects. Of
course it would need a good director and good actors.
Does anyone know if Halperin has already sold movie rights, and if some
Holliwood producer or director is thinking of it?
Please call Spielberg or the studios now!
