I have been meaning for years to put up a web site
or something. It's finally gotten to near the top of
my to do list. I'll share my thoughts and maybe you
folks can give me a few pointers.

I have a web hosting space and can get some popular
web tool. I want a web site to post essays, links, etc.
I am thinking of using Radio Userland to create a blog
for my works in progress and misc. LE thoughts.
Beyond that I think my best bet is to involve myself in
    existing forums (like this one).

I want to try to be more collaborative and I do not like
to see work wastefully duplicated. I like the idea of
keeping most of my thinking online but I don't want to
spam people with it. I'm going to surf around and see
what I can find but if anyone has suggestions to speed
the process up I would appreciate them. I suppose
surfing and reading a lot more is a good first step.
