It would be idiotic to say that you absolutely don't believe in them and
likewise if you said that you did, unless you have proof.
It isn't as cut and dry as Leprechauns, but just about any one of good
standing will be mercilessly hit with the coo-coo stick and forever more labelled
for stating that they believe.
