Currently the stretch of highway leading into Yorba Linda (the site of the Nixon library) is known as the "Richard Nixon Parkway." Personally, I consider it shabby that the National Zoo in Washington doesn't bear his name, considering his actions made possible the acquisition of their most famous attraction, the giant pandas. I think this only fair-given our national airport is named after President Reagan (not that I'm necessarily opposed to that, but I wonder if anyone knows the logic and reasoning behind that decision) and Jimmy Carter(!) has a submarine named in his honor. (the reasoning for that is understandable, if the choice a bit confusing. Perhaps the USS Malaise was taken..)
