    No, proof that Dezi Arnaz was a communist can be found in the archived
    records that show his voter registration card, IN HIS OWN HANDWRITING,
    as a member of the CP. To answer your deflection, I will note that Ron
    Reagan's first wife (during the period you cite) most certainly was
    communist (Jane Wyland) and they attended party meetings together.
    Ronald Reagan also testified before the HUAC and named names. His
    disavowal and naming of names during that period sealed his entry into
    conservative politics.
