    When he was selected, the public spin was that he was a moderate and
    fair individual with a good judicial record. It was only when he really
    started digging dirt (real dirt, mind you) that the White House spin
    went into character assasination mode, especially the Hillary camp.
    According to Dick Morris, Hillary is the sort who is perpetually one
    step away from calling out a hit contract on her enemies. Sidney
    Blumenthal, for example, spent most of his time in the White House
    doing dirty tricks and character assasination work.
