    Gina Miller:

Carbon nanotubes have an unusually interesting array of properties,
including great mechanical strengths for molecules that can be microns
    or
even meters long, and electronic properties that include the ability to
    be
either a conductor or a semi-conductor, depending upon the chirality of
the molecule. So they are very interesting candidates for molecular
    circuits. Gina Miller

Carbon nanotubes have demonstrated electric current densities
    of up to 15 Amp/cm^2.

Surely the carbon nanotube is one of the most important
breakthrus in nanotech to come along in recent years.

A Stanford researcher working with low temperature
nanotubes has reported seeing "absurdly high" current
densities. I do not have the URL for that research,
but this is a truly exciting time to be alive. {8-]
