    I thought it was common knowledge that lean meats like turkey are by far the
    richest sources of protein, far surpassing most any vegetable, fruit or
    legume. I'm surprised to learn from messages in this thread that this
    knowledge may not be so common after all.

    As you point out, we need to agree whether water is an important ingredient
    in making food comparisons. It is incorrect to compare meat w/water to soy
    w/o water.

    Imo water should be excluded in all food comparisons, except perhaps in
    discussions about how best to survive when lost in the desert.
