    Well, according to:

Wielding a Big Stick, Carefully, Against SARS; April 20, 2003
    By DONALD G. McNEIL Jr.

The number of U.S. SARS deaths is 0 again. So things appear
    to be somewhat confused.

According to the WHO statistics page, as of the 18th of April
the U.S. # of deaths is 0 and the Canadian # is 12.
