    So let me get this straight--you want people to speak freely, but
    if that speech happens to be an honest and polite request for restraint,
    then it's a despicable attempt at control? Right, got it.

    I'm as much a free-speech absolutist as anyone, and I'm quite likely
    to ignore or argue with such a request for restraint. But by the
    same token I'm certainly not going to have any problem with the
    request itself--that would be stupid and inconsistent. Give Greg a
    break.
