A bit of an exaggeration there Damien, 1500 oil well fires wouldn't be much
fun but it wouldn't be the end of the world, they can be put out, they were
in Kuwait. Iraq only produces 3.3% of the world's oil but has the potential
to do much better if modern equipment was used in a post Saddam world. In
the long run it could lead to much lower oil prices, that's one reason Saudi
Arabia doesn't much like the war and wants Saddam to stay.
