I'm happy (for myself) to not talk any more on Iraq or preface any email
with IRAQ, the later seems more sensible to me.

There are going to be bigger differences amongst transhumanists. You can see
this already. Those who are enthusiastic for complete computronium uploading
scenarios seem to assume that these will apply to the entire solar system.
Libertarians seem to think their principles will apply to all. Capitalists
seem to think their principles will apply to all. Uploaders often fail to
consider augmentationists. The extropian/wta community will split just as
Christianity did. The profound differences on notions go on and on: corporal
and capital punishment, protection, right to life, stage of sentiency, right
to vote, brakes on population growth. Currently the forums are great for
debate and technical information from experts, which is super, and help keep
us focussed in a world full of mortal orientation, but at some stage in the
future I'll be able to join the "upwinger, pro-choice, pro-protection,
    pro-growth" mob as well.
