    Yep, not like the Italian left and catholics to miss a chance for a good demo
    (NB: "catholics" in Italy is used as an ideological, not ethnic, label).

    There was another one million people demo in Rome not so many months ago. The
    goal of that one was to topple the government and, even with Italy's history
    of short-lived governments, it did not succeed...

    This strange alliance ranging from the pious to the hardline communists is
    called in Italian "buonismo" (kind of translates as "goodism"). Historically,
    it make sense: after all Italy still has the Vatican and used to have the
    largest communist party in Western Europe...
