Articles in the paper today filed from northern Iraq say that the Iraqi
man on the street, when confident the reporter will not report back to
saddam, or is unaccompanied by a state security agent, seem to be
expecting the war to be short and stunningly victorious for the US.
This does not bode well for Saddam. His troops seem to already be
betting against themselves. I expect our biggest problem will be
finding places to store all the POWs, we will capture several times
more this time than we did last time.
