*ahem* While Hubert obviously failed to see the irony in John's posting,
there are always more alternatives than black or white. And when
governments are involved, there's always more than one "truth" :-)

What happened sixty years ago is in more than one way incomparable to
what we see today. And while Saddam Hussein surely is one of the worst
dictators on this planet today, it's another game to cooly calculate with
thousands of deaths just for the risk of more terrorism and more chaos in
a region full of political complexity. BTW, I'm still curious, when Mr.
Bush will go against Pakistan (A-bombs, pro-Taliban), North Korea
(A-bombs, probably pro-terrorist) or several other countries...
