Reposting what I posted on that page:

The relational models seem to be treated as distinct from each other. Aren't
there transactions that are a weighted sum of more than one model?

For example, couldn't powerful individuals use their power to manipulate the
market in their favour, thus giving rise to transactions that are actually
hybrids of Authority Ranking and Equality Matching (or, as I imagine an
economist would put it, a lock-in type market failure).
