Especially when their best brains have a tendency to immigrate here to
earn what they are worth and not have their life confiscated by the
people's dictatorship.

I also seem to recall that it was US who won the cold war, while most
of europe was about ready to capitulate in another frenzy of pacifistic
appeasement.

I also seem to recall that it is Europe that has the worst record as
far as blowing the world up is concerned. We had to pull their arses
out of the fire twice last century, and almost a third time.
