Well, another shoe drops. UCLA researchers may have
evidence that exercise and a Pritikin diet contributing
to lower IGF-1 levels actually causes increased apoptosis
(cell death) in prostate cancer cells. This is in agreement
with the recent previous comments that I posted regarding
the IGF-1R +/- and p66shc knockout transgenic mice having
extended longevity.
