I'd like to add the opinion that we are far too occupied with sports in
this country to worry about our educational curriculums. If less emphasis
was placed on school "winning", we could concentrate more on what our
students are learning. I don't advocate getting rid of our physical
education programs, just that we try to place more emphasis on scholastic
achievements, or at minimum, balance them out with the sports.
