[Note: What follows is against my principles as a Singularity fan, but
is still interesting.]

Actually, human flesh would probably be the most nourishing form of
meat, if nanosynthesized parasite-free. Imagine a future where all meat
is, technically speaking, "human flesh". This could form the basis of a
wonderful "future shock" story for a cryonic revival... especially if
1990's humans taste better (racially) than flabby, brain-bred 2100
humans...
