True, there are plenty of specifics that still need to be worked out,
along with that tricky "national defence" problem, but the basic theory
seems sound. Possibly the only way to work out the specifics would be to
create such a society and see how people solve them. The Internet could be
taken as one example (with ISPs as PPL providers), though the restrictions
on 'self-defence' due to crypto regulations etc biases the outcome.
