Although pico/ultraJAVA CPUs will come a little late, they will probably
find use extensively in "network aware" embedded systems and appliances.
You will probably see them first used in things like network terminals.

The real determining factor will be how Sun prices the CPUs. If they are
priced like embedded processors (i.e. pretty cheap) then the Java CPU market
should flourish. If they are priced like system processors (like an
UltraSparc or SuperSparc), then they will sell pretty poorly IMO. I have
the suspicion that Sun may try pricing them like the latter rather than the
former, but this remains to be seen.
